Can buyers post projects and get quotes from vendors?

Yes. WP Sell Services supports two buying modes: browse-and-buy (Fiverr-style) where buyers purchase from service listings, and post-a-request (Upwork-style) where buyers describe their project and vendors submit proposals. Both are included free.

How does the commission system work?

You set a global commission rate (default 10%). On every completed order, the platform keeps its percentage and the vendor receives the rest after a configurable clearance period. You can also set per-vendor commission rates.

Is there a REST API?

Yes. 21 REST API controllers covering services, orders, reviews, conversations, disputes, buyer requests, proposals, earnings, cart, authentication, and more. Includes a batch endpoint for mobile apps that can combine up to 25 requests in a single HTTP call.

Can I customize the templates?

Yes. All 78 templates are theme-overridable. Copy them to your theme's wp-sell-services/ directory and customize. The plugin also exposes 233 hooks and filters for developers who want to modify behavior without touching templates.

What happens after a buyer purchases a service?

The buyer submits project requirements, the vendor starts work with a delivery deadline, delivers when ready, and the buyer reviews the delivery. They can accept, request revisions (within the package limit), or open a dispute. After completion, both parties leave reviews.

How do vendors get paid?

Vendors request withdrawals from their dashboard when their available balance meets the minimum threshold. Admins review and process payouts via PayPal or bank transfer. Pro adds automated scheduled payouts.

Does WP Sell Services support RTL languages?

Yes. Full RTL stylesheet support is built in. The plugin also ships with a complete .pot file for translators and is compatible with WPML and Polylang for multilingual marketplaces.
