Where do I download Listora?
Listora is a private plugin distributed by Wbcom Designs - not published to WordPress.org. Get the free plugin and Pro license at store.wbcomdesigns.com/listora/.
Does Pro work without Free installed?
No. Pro is a pure extension of Free - it consumes Free's hooks, REST endpoints, blocks, and database tables. If Free is deactivated, Pro deactivates itself automatically. This is by design: your public directory never breaks when Pro's license expires.
How long does setup take?
The 6-step setup wizard gets you from a fresh WordPress install to a working directory with demo content in about 30 minutes. The wizard auto-creates the Add Listing, My Listings, and Directory pages with the right blocks pre-wired.
Can I migrate from Directorist, GeoDirectory, or ListingPro?
Yes. Built-in migrators handle Directorist, GeoDirectory, WPBDP (Business Directory Plugin), and ListingPro. Run `wp listora migrate --from=directorist --dry-run` to preview before importing. Pro adds a Visual Importer with field auto-detection.
What payment gateways are supported?
Pro supports 7 payment paths via the Wbcom Credits SDK: WooCommerce, WooCommerce Subscriptions, MemberPress, Paid Memberships Pro, WooMemberships (5 SDK adapters), plus Stripe direct and PayPal direct via the inbound webhook receiver. Every top-up flows through the same credit ledger.
How does the credit system work?
Site owners define credit packs (e.g. 10 credits for $40) and pricing plans (e.g. Basic plan = 5 credits/month). Vendors buy credits, use them to activate listing plans. The Hold-and-Commit model holds credits at plan selection and only commits when activation succeeds - failed activations cancel the hold.
Will it scale past 10,000 listings?
Yes. The search index is a dedicated denormalized table, not a meta_query. Geo queries use Haversine against a separate listora_geo table. Action Scheduler handles all background jobs. Designed and tested for six-figure listing counts.
Is the REST API in free?
Yes. 55 REST endpoints in free cover listings, search, reviews, favorites, claims, services, and the user dashboard. Pro adds 65 more endpoints (62 unique routes). Build a Next.js, Astro, or mobile-app frontend on top - all listing surfaces are accessible.
Will it work with my theme?
